Best hiking trails in Queensland
Queensland walking covers more ground than any other state: Gondwanan rainforest and waterfall circuits in the Gold Coast hinterland, basalt lookouts along the Scenic Rim, dry eucalypt ranges inland, and tropical gorge country further north. Heat and humidity do more to set the difficulty here than distance does — an early start and more water than you think you need are the two things that matter most.
