Hikes near the Sunshine Coast
The Sunshine Coast hinterland is waterfall and volcanic-plug country, and the two are close enough together to do both in a day. Kondalilla and Mapleton Falls sit in the Blackall Range behind Montville, while the Glass House Mountains' eroded cores — Tibrogargan, Ngungun, Beerwah — give you short, steep climbs with the whole coastline behind you. Eight of the twenty tracks here are waterfall walks and nine finish on a summit. The radius reaches south into the D'Aguilar and Tamborine networks as well, so if you're happy to drive you'll find those listed below too, sorted by distance.
